French Fries
In a large skillet over medium heat, add a drizzle of olive oil and the piece of lean beef.
Season with salt and black pepper to taste, and sear it until all sides are nicely browned.
Remove the beef from the skillet.
Add the unsalted butter and stir until it melts completely.
Once that happens, add the red onion cut into small cubes and fry until lightly golden brown.
Add the white wine, the heavy cream and the mustard.
Season with the salt, a pinch of black pepper, the garlic powder and stir everything very well until fully combined.
Turn off the heat, add spring onion to taste, mix to incorporate and set aside.
Next, cut the medium peeled potatoes into strips, then into sticks.
Transfer them to a medium bowl using a strainer and rinse them well with cold water.
In a large skillet over medium to low heat, add the vegetable oil and let it heat up.
Add the potatoes we prepared and fry them until golden brown.
Remove them from the oil and drain the excess grease on a plate lined with paper towels.
Serve.
