Chocolate and Coconut Skillet Cake

In a large skillet with the boiling water over low heat, add the Danette and stir everything very well until smooth.Add the refined sugar, the vanilla extract, the vegetable oil, the egg and stir again to combine.Next, add the wheat flour, the baking powder, the grated coconut and stir until it becomes a smooth and even batter.Cover the skillet with a lid and let it cook for 10 minutes.In another large skillet over medium to low heat, add the condensed milk, the butter, the chocolate Danette and stir everything very well until the mixture is smooth and comes off the bottom of the skillet.After the cake has finished cooking, add the fudge we prepared and spread it evenly.Finally, garnish with grated dried coconut to taste.Serve.

  • 180g of Chocolate Danette
  • 300ml of Water
  • 2 Tablespoons of Refined Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
  • 50ml of Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Egg
  • 3 Tablespoons of Wheat Flour
  • 1 Teaspoon of Baking Powder
  • 2 Tablespoons of Grated Coconut

Fudge

  • 395g of Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 Tablespoon of Unsalted Butter
  • 180g of Chocolate Danette
  • Grated Dried Coconut to Taste

Modo de Fazer

In a large skillet with the boiling water over low heat, add the Danette and stir everything very well until smooth.

Add the refined sugar, the vanilla extract, the vegetable oil, the egg and stir again to combine.

Next, add the wheat flour, the baking powder, the grated coconut and stir until it becomes a smooth and even batter. 

Cover the skillet with a lid and let it cook for 10 minutes.

In another large skillet over medium to low heat, add the condensed milk, the butter, the chocolate Danette and stir everything very well until the mixture is smooth and comes off the bottom of the skillet.

After the cake has finished cooking, add the fudge we prepared and spread it evenly. 

Finally, garnish with grated dried coconut to taste.

Serve.
