Pineapple Syrup
Start by placing one slice of pineapple in a medium bowl with the melted milk chocolate and cover the entire pineapple with chocolate.
Repeat this process with 4 pineapple slices.
Transfer to a tray lined with nonstick parchment paper, place in the refrigerator and chill for 5 minutes.
After this time has passed, decorate the pineapple slices with chocolate to taste.
Return to the refrigerator and chill for another 5 minutes.
Then, cut each one into smaller pieces and set aside.
In a large bowl, add the eggs, the sugar and mix until the sugar dissolves.
Add the vegetable oil, the water, the vanilla extract and mix.
Next, add the wheat flour and mix until you have a smooth and even batter.
Add the baking powder and mix to incorporate.
Transfer this batter to a 22cm cake pan dusted with wheat flour and greased with butter.
Add the pineapple pieces we prepared earlier.
Place in a preheated oven at 180° C (350° F) and bake for 40 minutes.
In a large skillet over medium to low heat, add one pineapple cut into small cubes, the sugar and stir everything very well until the sugar has completely dissolved.
Cover the skillet and let everything cook for 15 minutes.
After the cake has baked, finish it with the pineapple syrup we prepared.
Serve.
