Skillet Cake with Caramel

In a large skillet, add the processed cheese, the eggs, the milk, the vegetable oil and mix everything very well.Add the vanilla extract, the semolina and mix until it forms a smooth mixture.Next, add the sugar, the wheat flour and mix to incorporate.Add the baking powder and mix once again.Next, turn on the heat to low, cover the skillet and let it cook for 10 minutes.After this time has passed, flip it over and let it cook for another 10 minutes.In another large skillet over medium to low heat, add the sugar, the water, the cinnamon stick, the cloves, the juice of half a lemon, the honey and mix everything very well until it forms a syrup.Once the cake is ready, remove it from the skillet, transfer it to a medium baking dish and prick the entire cake with a fork.Pour the syrup we prepared all over it, place it in the refrigerator and let it chill for at least 2 hours.Serve.

  • 50g of Processed Cheese

  • 60ml of Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract

Syrup

  • 2 Cups of Sugar
  • 400ml of Water
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick
  • 1 Teaspoon of Cloves
  • Juice of ½ Lemon
  • 2 Tablespoons of Honey
