
Dough
Start by placing the fresh bread dough over an empty egg carton and press it down well using another egg carton.
Then, place a small cube of mozzarella cheese in each hole of the carton.
Place the dough onto the counter, take a portion in your hands and shape it into a ball.
Repeat this process with all the dough.
Next, pour a drizzle of olive oil into a baking tray and spread it with a brush.
Add the dough balls all over the bottom.
Cover them with a cloth and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
After this time has passed, brush an egg over everything.
Take to a preheated oven at 180° C (350° F) and bake for 40 minutes.
To make the dough we used in the recipe, take a large bowl.
Add the wheat flour, a pinch of salt, the sugar, the dry yeast powder, the warm water, the olive oil and mix everything very well.
When you can no longer mix with a spoon, start kneading with your hands until you have a smooth and even dough.
Cover with plastic wrap and let it ferment for at least 1 hour.
Serve.
