Homemade Bread with Cheese

Start by placing the fresh bread dough over an empty egg carton and press it down well using another egg carton.Then, place a small cube of mozzarella cheese in each hole of the carton.Place the dough onto the counter, take a portion in your hands and shape it into a ball.Repeat this process with all the dough.Next, pour a drizzle of olive oil into a baking tray and spread it with a brush.Add the dough balls all over the bottom.Cover them with a cloth and let them rise for another 30 minutes.After this time has passed, brush an egg over everything.Take to a preheated oven at 180° C (350° F) and bake for 40 minutes.To make the dough we used in the recipe, take a large bowl.Add the wheat flour, a pinch of salt, the sugar, the dry yeast powder, the warm water, the olive oil and mix everything very well.When you can no longer mix with a spoon, start kneading with your hands until you have a smooth and even dough.Cover with plastic wrap and let it ferment for at least 1 hour.Serve.

  • 1 Beaten Egg

  • 600g of Wheat Flour
  • 1 Pinch of Salt
  • 2 Tablespoons of Sugar
  • 10g of Dry Yeast Powder 
  • 400ml of Warm Water
  • 30ml of Olive Oil
